TALOS Social Intelligence
Effective 20 October 2026

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Talos Social Intelligence processes data in its private social analytics dashboard and on this public information website.

Who controls the data

The Talos Social Intelligence operator controls data processed for its authorized private dashboard. For access or privacy requests, use the contact email below.

Information processed

Where authorized by an account holder and supported by the relevant platform, Talos may process account identifiers, display names, follower and following counts, total likes, public video identifiers and descriptions, publishing dates, video views, likes, comments, shares and engagement statistics. Authorization credentials or refresh tokens may be received solely to maintain the requested connection.

Sources, purposes and legal basis

Data is obtained from official platform APIs using permissions granted by the authorized account holder. The purpose is to display private performance reports, historical comparisons and source-freshness diagnostics. The processing relies on authorization and, where applicable, the operator's legitimate interest in understanding its own accounts. A user's consent may be required for specific access flows and can be withdrawn.

Where data is held

The Talos dashboard stores authorized analytics in an operator-controlled local database. Credentials are intended to be held in the local operating system's secure credential store. This public website does not expose private account metrics or API credentials. Cloudflare delivers the public pages and may process technical request information, including IP addresses, as part of its hosting and security operations.

Sharing and sale

Talos does not sell authorized account data. The private operator can access data necessary for operating its dashboard. Data may be processed by the relevant platform and necessary infrastructure service providers for delivery, security and permitted access. Talos does not grant unrelated visitors access to the private analytics database.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained only for the operator's reporting and legitimate record-keeping purposes, with a review of whether older history remains necessary. An account holder can withdraw platform access and request deletion of related stored analytics and credentials. Deletion may not immediately remove backups, which will be removed through their normal retention cycle unless law requires otherwise.

Rights and requests

Subject to applicable law, affected individuals may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and may lodge a complaint with their supervisory data-protection authority. Requests are reviewed against applicable requirements and the authority of the requester.

Website tracking

The public informational pages do not intentionally set marketing cookies, embed advertising pixels or require visitor accounts. Standard hosting/security logs may still be processed by Cloudflare.

Policy changes

Changes will be published here with an updated effective date.
